We are committed to helping you make a smooth transition into Jefferson Davis Community College by exposing you to the many opportunities offered by the college and by communicating the expectations that we have of all our students.

If you are unable to attend one of the on campus orientation sessions, working through this "virtual orientation" will help you gain the valuable information you need before you begin your classes.

If you are a new student, it's best that you complete these tasks first:

1. Complete an Application for Admission (available online or printed in the schedule);
2. Find out when registration is for the term you wish to attend, and;
3. Have a class schedule handy for reference.

Each of the sections in the New Student Orientation area contains information that is critical to you as a new student. It is important to read EACH section.  The best way is to start at the beginning and work your way down through the various topics.  A presentation is available for you to view at the end.
